About these terms#

These terms govern your access to and use of this website. The site is published by Sahla Smart Solutions, registered at Business Center, SPC FZ, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The site is intended for people acting for business purposes and for people who are at least 18 years old. Nothing in these terms removes any right or remedy that applicable law does not allow us to remove.

Client work is separate#

This site describes our services, but it is not an offer, quotation or promise to provide services on particular terms. Any client work is governed by the proposal, statement of work, engagement agreement or other contract agreed for that work. If one of those agreements conflicts with these terms, the agreement for the client work prevails.

Information, not tailored advice#

Insights, glossary entries, case studies, assessment results and other website materials are general information. They are not advice tailored to your circumstances and are not a substitute for appropriate professional advice.

We take reasonable care over what we publish, but we do not promise that website content is complete, current, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for deciding whether it applies to your organisation, checking information that matters, and obtaining appropriate advice before you act or decide not to act.

Assessments#

Our Business Operations Assessment and AI Readiness Assessment produce indicative results from the answers you give. They are structured tools for reflection and conversation, not audits, certifications or professional opinions. A result may not identify every issue that matters to your business.

Case studies and results#

Case studies describe particular engagements in their own circumstances. Figures are stated with the baseline and period that apply to the engagement, and an unnamed client remains unnamed at their request. A result achieved for one business is not a promise, forecast or guarantee of a result for another.

Acceptable use#

You may browse, link to and quote reasonable extracts from the site for lawful business purposes, with attribution to Sahla Smart Solutions. You must not:

• interfere with the site, test or bypass its security without written permission, or introduce malicious code;
• scrape, copy or extract content or data in bulk;
• misuse a form, impersonate another person, or submit unlawful, misleading or infringing material; or
• use the site in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.

Do not submit passwords, access keys, unnecessary sensitive personal data, or confidential information that you are not authorised to share. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for having the right to provide it. We may restrict access or reject submissions where reasonably necessary to protect the site, its users or Sahla Smart Solutions.

Intellectual property#

Unless stated otherwise, the site's content, design and code belong to Sahla Smart Solutions or are used under licence. These terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. You may not republish a complete article, copy a substantial part of the site, or use our name, logo or branding without written permission.

Names, trademarks and logos belonging to other companies — including Odoo and Notion — remain the property of their owners. A reference to a third-party product describes our work or the relevant technology; it does not by itself mean that the owner sponsors or endorses us.

Third-party services and links#

The site may link to or use websites and services operated by others. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We do not control their content, availability or conduct and are not responsible for them, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Privacy#

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information submitted through or collected on this site. We use service providers to help us host, protect and route website submissions, as described in that policy.

Availability and security#

We may change, suspend or remove any part of the site. We do not promise that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free from defects or harmful components. You should use your own appropriate security controls and backups.

Liability#

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sahla Smart Solutions is not liable for loss arising from reliance on general website content or from the unavailability or misuse of the site. This includes indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit, revenue, data, business opportunity or anticipated savings.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, or any consumer or data protection right, that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights under applicable UAE, Saudi, European Union or other mandatory law remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms#

We may update these terms when the site, our practices or applicable law changes. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Changes apply from the time they are published and do not retrospectively change an agreement already signed for client work.

Governing law and disputes#

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah. The courts of Sharjah have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, subject to any mandatory right or jurisdiction that applicable law gives you.

If part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
