ERP implementation

Run your business on a system that actually fits it.

The right system makes the whole business easier to run. Sahla helps you choose the one that fits, builds it with your team, and stays until it delivers on that.

Product-neutral education first. No platform recommendation until the trade-offs are clear.

Before we get into it

The basics, and what it costs when they are missing.

Work app, system and ERP get used as if they meant the same thing, which is where most ERP budgets go wrong. Here they are in the order a growing business meets them.

  • A work app does one job.

QuickBooks or Zoho Books for the accounting. A spreadsheet for stock. WhatsApp for the coordinating that actually keeps things moving. Each is good at its own job and knows nothing at all about the others.

  • A system is those apps agreeing on one set of records.

The invoice your accountant opens is the one the salesperson raised, against a customer they can both see. You can get there by connecting the apps you already own, and for plenty of businesses that is the cheaper answer. We will say so when it is.

  • An ERP is one product that already covers most of it.

Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite. Finance, sales, purchasing, stock and people in one platform, so the records are shared by design rather than by integration. What you give up is the freedom to pick the best tool for each job.

  • Having none of it costs money too.

The same order typed into three places. A stock figure that depends on who you ask. Month end that takes a week because someone reconciles it by hand. A job whose real margin nobody knows until long after it shipped. None of it ever arrives as an invoice, so nobody approves it, argues about it, or cuts it.

What it's costing you

Your operations are leaking money every year.

Nobody approves a cost that never arrives as an invoice, so it runs for years without anyone measuring it. Putting a number on yours is the first thing the session does.

Is ERP always the right choice?

In a free session we lay out the trade-offs, the real cost structures, and the options in your market, so you can decide well before choosing any software. At the end, we tell you what we implement ourselves, and if neither fits your situation, we say that too.

  • About an hour, structured as education
  • No recommendation and no pitch inside the session

If neither Odoo nor Notion is the right answer for you, we can still help: choosing whatever is, overseeing the vendor who builds it, and keeping training and adoption on track.

How we implement

A license is easy to buy. A working ERP has to be built.

Projects rarely fail on the software. They fail on the implementation: the scoping, the process design, the data, the training, and the part after go-live.

  1. Scope
  2. Build
  3. Migrate
  4. Train
  5. Go-live
  6. A typical implementation ends here
  7. Periodic assessment and follow-up
  8. Success and periodic support
  9. …and still supported.

Training with a mandatory assessment

We do not consider the system delivered until your people pass. Handing over logins is not training.

System-oriented consultation

We introduce capability gradually, in the order your team can absorb it, instead of switching everything on at once.

Client success and periodic support

Someone from our side still owns your outcome after go-live, rather than the engagement ending at the handover. That is where the 90%+ figure comes from.

Every engagement also includes solution design, provider selection and procurement support, the implementation itself, structured data migration with fallback plans, and go-live support.

One point of contact

You work with a single consultant who speaks for our whole delivery team, on average five people behind them.

Your side

We need a decision-maker and the people who actually do the work, a few hours a week. Not a dedicated project team.

Questions we get

Before you book the session.

Yes. If neither fits, we say so, and we can still help you choose and govern whatever you do buy.

No. It is a lighter way to run operations for teams that are not ready for a full ERP. It handles processes, shared information, and light workflows well. It does not handle deep transactional work.

Glossary: ERP

About an hour of structured education: work systems, the multi-system versus single-platform trade-off, real pricing shapes, and the options in your market. No recommendation and no pitch inside the session.

Read: You may not need an ERP yet

Usually, yes. And if what you bought does not fit how you operate, we will tell you before we build on it.

Agreed before we start. Fixed price for defined scopes, a retainer for ongoing success and support, hourly for small pieces of work.

Both. We implement alongside your people so the way of working survives after we step back.

Understand all options before you commit to anything.

One free session: what an ERP actually is, how its market works, which options exist at your size, and what each really costs. Plain language, not vendor language. You can act on all of it whether or not you ever hire us.
