Who
A social commerce trading company in Egypt.
The problem
No ERP. Management could not see the true state of work, so problems surfaced late and escalations were slow to act on. Stock went out of stock, counts did not match what was on the shelf, and goods were written off.
What we did
Odoo across five departments, run as a digital-transformation and adoption engagement — success was whether the business ran differently afterwards, not whether the software was installed. A custom integration to their third-party logistics provider followed.
What changed
Management gained a clear view of the state of work and could intervene faster on escalations. Stock problems and delivery problems both fell sharply.
What we would say plainly
The numbers came from adoption, not from the ERP being present. The same software installed without the work of changing how five departments operate would not have moved them — which is why the engagement was run as a transformation programme rather than an implementation.
The delivery figures also depend on a third party: the 3PL integration removed a class of problem, but the logistics provider still has to deliver.
